Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Activities:

  • Arrival at Entebbe International Airport.
  • Meet & greet with the safari guide.
  • Transfer to your hotel in Entebbe.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park (Chimpanzee Trekking)

Activities:

  • Drive to Kibale Forest National Park (~5-6 hours).
  • Scenic drive through lush countryside and tea plantations.
  • Afternoon visit to Bigodi Wetlands for bird watching and community walk.
  • Overnight at a lodge near Kibale.

Meals:

  • Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest

Activities:

  • Early morning chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest (2-5 hours).
  • Learn about chimpanzee behavior and forest ecology from park rangers.
  • Afternoon: Optional Bigodi Community visit or relax at lodge.
  • Overnight at lodge near Kibale.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (Gorilla Trekking)

Activities:

  • Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (~6-7 hours).
  • Stop at scenic viewpoints along the way.
  • Check-in at lodge near gorilla trekking sector (Nkuringo, Buhoma, or Ruhija).
  • Overnight at lodge.

  • Scenic drive through the Ugandan countryside.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Activities:

  • Early morning gorilla trekking briefing.
  • Trek into the forest to find a gorilla family (2-8 hours depending on location).
  • Spend up to 1 hour observing and photographing gorillas.
  • Return to lodge for relaxation.
  • Optional evening community walk.

Meals:

  • Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

  • Gorilla trekking experience, photography, rainforest exploration.

Day 6: Optional Activities & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Activities:

  • Morning relaxation or optional activities such as:

  • Afternoon transfer to Lake Bunyonyi (~2 hours).
  • Sunset boat ride and relaxation by the lake.
  • Overnight at Lake Bunyonyi lodge.

Day 7: Return to Entebbe & Departure
