Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly received by our representative and transferred to your Nairobi hotel for briefing and relaxation.

Day 2–3: Samburu National Reserve

Depart Nairobi and drive north across the equator into Samburu National Reserve, an arid region known for its rugged beauty and distinctive wildlife. Enjoy afternoon and full-day game drives to spot elephants, lions, leopards, and the Samburu Special Five – Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk.

Activities: Game drives, wildlife photography, optional cultural visit to Samburu village

Day 4: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, drive to the Olpajeta Conservancy in Laikipia, a private wildlife sanctuary home to all of Africa’s Big Five. Visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary and see the last two remaining northern white rhinos.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park

Continue to the Great Rift Valley and Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its thousands of flamingos and diverse birdlife. Game drive en route to spot rhinos, lions, and leopards.

Day 6–8: Masai Mara National Reserve

Head to Masai Mara, Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife reserve. Spend three nights exploring the rolling plains in search of the Big Cats — lion, leopard, and cheetah — and the legendary Wildebeest Migration (July–October). Experience a Maasai Village Visit to learn about local traditions. Optional hot air balloon safaris are available on request.

Day 9: Departure
